Vegas Overload

Lane & I had the opportunity to to spend 3 days in Vegas. We crammed as much as we could into our stay. The first 2 nights we stayed at the Encore. It was really nice.

Here are some random shots on the strip.

We had some great recommendations from Lane's friend on places to eat. Here we are at Earl of Sandwich. It was delicious.

Day 1-David Copperfield. Great show. Still can't figure out how any of the tricks were done!

When I saw there was a Serendipity, I couldn't not go! We got the Frozen Hot Chocolate & the Colossal Brownie Sundae. Both were awesome.

Ultimate Burger-Amazing! Good thing we split the burger. We had so much food. Not pictured were poblano poppers, fries & fried pickles.

Day 2-Cirque Love show. I LOVED it. The music was of course great & the choreography was excellent.

Day 3- Red Rock. We rented a car & cruised around Hoover Dam & the red rock area. Beautiful.

The only time we touched a slot machine was in the airport on our way home. Lost $15.

Summer Pics

Here are just a few pictures off my phone that I wanted to include for my blog book. Random moments throughout the summer.

Trying on floppy hats at Target.

One of the 1st time she wore pigtails.
I was trying this skirt on her & she has the cutest smile!
Just kicking back.
Rub a dub dub 3 kids in a tub
Getting into spaces she shouldn't be.
Dad's hiding spot during a game of hide & seek.
 First time bowling.

He actually won an elephant out of that crane game. Crazy!
Sweet Sammies treats to beat the summer heat!

We probably went to Six Flags 5 times this summer.

Circus

This is our 3rd year going to the circus. This kids absolutely love it. Davis did so much better this year than he did last year. His attention span has lengthened and as a result, we were able to stay for the 2nd half. We lucked out that the kids decided to get their face painted instead of buying one of those super expensive cheap toys. And they also chose popcorn, which was the cheapest food option. We made out pretty well.

Davis chose a tiger and Elliot got a butterfly. I couldn't get over how cute they looked! Definitely worth the $12. Seriously, I couldn't stop telling Lane how adorable they looked.
