Bennett at 5 months

Hard to believe it's been 5 months, but here we are. He is rolling over both ways. He seems to prefer to sleep on his tummy at the moment. We are adding oatmeal to his bottle right before bed time. I haven't felt like spoon feeding him just yet.

Patriot Day

Elliot's school does a 9/11 tribute every year which I think is pretty cool. They invite local firefighters, police officers, EMT and veterans to attend and be honored. I love that they're teaching the children to love America and to look up to our public servants. The scouts did the raising of the flag. The kids sang the National Anthem and read a tribute to the victims of 9/11.

Big Rocks Park

We found a new place to visit. Big Rocks Park is located in Glen Rose and is only 1 hour away. This place is cool because you can just let the kids splash around. In most places it only hits to your ankles. There is 1 spot that it goes up to your waist, so I feel it gives you variety. The kids loved it. And when you get tired of the water, you can climb giant rocks.

Perry's 1st Day of Preschool

Today was Perry's 1st ever experience with Preschool. She's going to Miss Lydia's house 1 day a week for 2 hours. She was a little nervous when I dropped her off, but loosened up when she saw her friend, Ellis. And by the time I picked her up, she was walking around like she owned the place.

Davis' 1st Day of Preschool

Davis was pretty excited about starting preschool this year. Especially since his best bud, Van is in his class. He just finished his first week and he still wants to go back. So that's saying something.
