3 Months

Bennett is one happy boy. He only cries when he's hungry or tired. He sleeps through the night, which is greatly appreciated. He is so lovable. I mean, look at his face. His cheeks are pinch worthy. I feel like he's definitely filled out some. We won't know his weight until his 4 month check up though. Until then we'll just continue to love on him and feed him every 2 hours. He likes his food!

Temple Trip

We've been wanting to take the kids to the temple for a while now. It's so nice having it so close to home, but still hard to set aside time to go. But we had a free morning and took advantage. I have to say things went smoothly! I was not expecting that. The kids all smiled for the camera without any threats being made, so I was happy. After, we went by the bookstore and got each of the kids their own Book of Mormon to take on Sundays. I also got some other teaching helps for me to use and before I knew it, I had spent $50! Oh well, it should all be worth it. After the bookstore we headed to lunch and called it a day.

Kids' First Rangers Game

This is the first time we've braved a Ranger's Game with the kids. It's usually just me & Lane. But we got a really good deal on tickets, so we thought we'd try it out. Of course I had to make sure they all had adorable Ranger's gear. We brought my parents for reinforcements. And they brought hot dogs and juice. I only ended up having to buy 1 bag of cotton candy. I was prepared to buy 3 snacks, so I got out cheap. The kids all did pretty well. Elliot & Perry seemed to enjoy the game. Or I should say the music and clapping. Davis was in awe the first 5 minutes and then was over it. He kept trying to lay down on one of us and saying "I can't get comfy". Then he repeatedly asked us if we could go home. I mean, seriously? I made him wait to the 7th inning stretch and then we left. Will we take them again? Not for at least 5 years. Don't want to waste the money on them:)

Random

I don't really have anything to say about these pictures other than I love them. Obviously the girls had something to do with this first picture.

Bennett Boy

I really need to do a better job at taking pictures of Bennett. Especially when he looks this cute!

Fourth of July

There wasn't a dull moment over the 4th of July weekend. I think it was 3 days in a row that the kids stayed up til 10pm! We kicked things off by watching Wizard of Oz at our neighbors. The kids had a blast being outside and eating popcorn. We're so lucky to have fun neighbors! Mansfield does their fireworks on the 3rd, so we headed over to Amy's for our annual get together. I love that we've been friends forever and now we get to watch our kids' friendships grow. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I managed to snap a few pictures. It was hard to get one with everyone smiling...notice Perry's many different faces. I guess I can't get too mad at her. I'm pretty sure I did the same thing when I was her age. And finally on the 4th, we went to my sister's house. I didn't get any pictures there. The kids got to swim and hang out. Elliot's favorite place to be is with her cousins.

Bennett at 2 Months

I've been anxiously awaiting this appointment to see how much weight he has gained. He came in right at 10 lbs and is measuring 22.75". Little man is doing great. Now I just need to be better about our schedule so we can get him into a routine. This month he is starting to smile. Not too often, but I have seen it. He's doing great with tummy time. He's still eating every 2 hours, sometimes more. He's getting a lot more bottles than I had planned because of his large appetite. As far as sleep goes, he is a loud sleeper at night. He wiggles around a lot and makes grunting noises constantly. We're going to have to figure out a new sleeping arrangement before I go crazy from lack of sleep. Aside from that, he's still an awesome easygoing kid.

Helper

Elliot has been a big help to me lately with Bennett. If I need to get something done, I can count on her to take care of him. She's great at holding him and she loves to sit him up next to her.
