Spit Happens

Lately Elliot has been one heck of a spitter. The first month of her life, she NEVER spit up. But now it's constant. I find myself needing to buy more burp rags. Anyway, I knew this day would come, but I thought it would happen to me first. Fortunately Lane was the lucky one. Right as he lifted her up, out came the spit. If you look closely, you can see it on his shirt. She seems to be enjoying herself despite the drool hanging off her lip.

Girlfriend, you don't know what spit is. For reals. I go through at least seven birp rags a day, and they are all soaking wet. Like immediately after every feeding I have about five seconds before her entire meal is everywhere. Then for the next hour after each feeding it comes out as nasty, thick cottage cheese barf. It's friggin nasty.

Haha! I love that you caught the spit hanging off her chin!

For reals - what's with the spit up? Brielle has started spitting up all over the place. She got it all down my shirt the other day. Gross!
