Lane had the day off today & suggested that we go to Hurricane Harbor. I was not totally on board with this idea at first. I probably haven't been there since high school & even back then it was a bit trashy. Well, I had a change of heart & decided that I needed to get some sun, so off we went. We had to rent a locker to put our stuff in. We thought we were prepared with a ton of quarters, but it ended up being $12! I was only thinking it would be $5. That's how they make their money I guess. We had a great time riding all the tube rides. Those are my favorite. One observation that I made was the number of people with tattoos. I was shocked at the big, ugly tattoos that almost everyone had. Our favorite was this guy who had grilling utensils on the back of both of his arms...classy.

Are y'all not living in Houston anymore? Did I miss something or are you just visiting your parents for a while during the summer? We need to get together again soon.
I've lived in DFW all of my life and have never been to Hurricane Harbor. Remember when it was Wet 'N Wild?!
I hope you got enough sun! I think I got too much sun today. I almost passed out in the heat running earrands today...or maybe it was because I was starving.

hahaha Love that we have both had our Hurricane Harbor fixes this summer. So ridiculous. And yes, can you BELIEVE the lockers??? I forgot to post about that on my blog. Ridiculous! I was so mad about that.

A lot of my patients have crazy tattoos.. in crazy places?!? The jail patients are the worst!! When we were in the Dallas area we'd drive by Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags allll the time and never made it to either :( Also, I forgot to tell you, we tried your Cafe Rio recipe and it was awesome!!

Jared and I were just talking about this tatoo deal the other day, actually. We went to a wedding and there was this really beautiful girl there, in a really nice dress but then she stood up and turned around and had tatoo's all over her back and shoulders. Totaly ruined it and she looked trashy from then on out. I guess we're just not a big fan of the tatoo thing...
Anyway, how fun that you went together! And $12 is ridiculous for lockers. Just sayin'.
Patrick's sister did NRH2O. They said it was really nice. You might like it better. I don't think we have been to the water park since elementary school.

$12? What a rip off! I'm glad it was fun! I love water parks, but I always hate looking at the gross bodies in little swimsuits.
