I had my doctor's appointment today & I was 80% effaced & 2 cm dilated. She was pretty rough down there when she was checking. After I left, I started having pains. I just figured it was because of the exams. But the pains (contractions) continued from 3pm & are still going on. So we decided to come into the hospital once they were 3 minutes apart for about an hour or so. Luckily I was not turned away & am currently in my room. I'm not dilated to a 3, but I probably won't have Elliot until tomorrow. My water is still in tact. I have to say I HATE contractions! And I get pretty snippy. An epidural sounds good right about now!

Oh goodness! Jalei I am so excited! What a good blogger you are keeping everyone updated. I will be praying for you, Lane and Elliot. I hope you get the epidural soon and can relax!

I'm so glad they admitted you. I was sent away twice with Emerson and I was dilated to a 3. Which is why when I went back for the third time I was dilated to a 8 and Emerson was ready to come out. And, yes, epidurals are great! Thank God for them! Keep us posted and you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Can't wait to see pictures of sweet Elliot! So excited!

Okay, I hope she is here now. I called Lane about 4 hours ago. And he thought it would be within the next hour. We can't wait to see pictures!

I have to admit that I am REALLY jealous. Vinny is overdue by 3 days and now the tables have turned and Elliot is going to be older than he. Regardless I am so stoked for you and Lane. Here is to us both having babies this week (hopefully).
