Due Date
I just got a call from my doctor's office saying my induction is scheduled for August 19th at 5pm, so Elliot should be here on the 20th! Wow, it's official. Now I just have to wait. I am glad I know when it's going to happen (unless she comes early). That way the guy who gives the epidurals will be informed ahead of time that he'll be needed (haha). Plus, I don't really like surprises where I don't know what's going on. It makes me feel like I'm driving in rush hour traffic in a strange city...not fun!

Be careful what you say, I was the exact same way so happy to have a specific date and then Carson decided to come even earlier. :) It is so nice to have an end in sight though isn't it?
That's nice that you know! Now you don't have to worry and stress about when she's coming. I'm so excited for you and I can't wait to see pics!
How exciting. I LOVED being induced. We just walked into the hospital and said ok we're ready. Then just hung out all day (with the help of an epidural of course). And he was there by that evening. Good luck with everything. Hope all goes well.

Yea!!! They're inducing you on my due date! Inducing is the BEST way to go....you won't feel a dang thing. Period. It's great.
So what type of induction are they going to do?

That is so awesome! I'm glad your doctor had room in her schedule!!! That would have been my worst fear too. (You really get attached to your doctor). Our babies could be born just days apart... maybe even the same day! (Baby McIntyre could even be born after Elliot, but I'm getting so impatient that I'm sure I'll give into another c-section before I get that far. We'll see though).
It will be fun to have each other to compare baby tips with as they get older since they will be so close in age.
